CSR-1 – AN OVERVIEW

Trusts, NGOs or Section 8 companies can get the donations from the corporate as CSR funding and CSR-1 is a registration form that is filed in order to get CSR funding. Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has mandated filing of CSR-1 with effect from April 1, 2021. CSR-1 form is verified by a Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

CSR-1 is required to be filed according to Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014.
